Common Curiosities

Whether you're new to our offerings or simply seeking more information, this guide is here to provide you with clear and concise answers. Explore the topics below to find the insights you need.

What is at-home blood testing?

At-home blood testing allows a licensed phlebotomist to collect your blood sample in the comfort of your home or office. The specimen is processed through a certified lab, and results are reviewed by a provider.

Who can use at-home lab services?

Anyone with a provider-ordered lab test or enrolled in one of our programs can use at-home phlebotomy. This service is especially convenient for patients with busy schedules, mobility challenges, or those who prefer not to visit a lab.

What types of tests are available?

We offer routine blood panels (such as complete blood count, cholesterol, thyroid, metabolic function, and more), as well as specialty labs when ordered by your provider.

Are the labs processed by a certified facility?

Yes. All samples are processed through CLIA-certified laboratories that meet state and federal standards for accuracy and reliability.

Do I need to fast before my appointment?

Some tests require fasting for 8–12 hours. Your provider will let you know in advance if fasting is necessary.

How long does the appointment take?

Most blood draws take less than 15 minutes.

How long until I get my results?

Turnaround times vary depending on the test but are typically 24–72 hours. Results are reviewed by a licensed provider, who will follow up with you to discuss next steps.
